Meet Courtnie ChristiansenCourtnie, LCSW, has a bachelors degree in Social Work form Weber State University and a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Utah. She returned to school as a non-traditional student in 2017 to pursue her passion for helping others navigate life’s trials and stressors and build healthy relationships. Courtnie approaches therapy from a lens that each person is the author of their own story, sometimes we experience plot twists, writers block, and need someone to help us edit the plot line. She believes that every person possesses an inner strength that can be utilized for greater growth and character development. Courtnie applies mindfulness base interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy interventions, emotion focused therapy and solution focused therapy in her practice. Courtnie has experience working with Anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, parent/child relationship, and family therapy. She enjoys working with adolescents, young adults and women. Courtnie has been married 22 years and has 3 children. She
