Meet Tamera Pedersen, LCMHC, CDWF
Tamera’s great passion is helping others find healthy perceptions of self by changing ones internal narrative, increasing self-worth, finding clarity, healing, and strengthening relationships. Tamera has had many life experiences that have taught her what disappointment, loss, and heart break look like. Because of these experiences she is able to connect with others in a personal way. She describes herself as a ‘hope dealer’ and believes in change and resilience.
Tamera knows therapy is not a one size fits all, therefore she responds to her clients personal needs. She has experience working with individuals and couples and has taught classes and has ran groups. Tamera received intense training to become a ‘Daring Greatly’ and ‘Rising Strong’ facilitator to help individuals recognize how shame affects their life and to teach them how to live more authentically. She has worked at an outpatient substance abuse facility, Department of Corrections (counseling and teaching classes), and LDS Family Services. Tamera invites you to join her in a safe nonjudgmental atmosphere where she will offer her warmth and compassion and help you move through your unique challenges. |
